"Advocating for Cultural Diversity"

On May 8, 2008, this world lost Frank Harr, a lifelong advocate for cultural diversity.  In honor of his legacy his partner of 32 years, Ken Cox, founded The Frank Harr Foundation.

The Frank Harr Foundation exists for the purpose of continuing Frank Harr's pursuit of social justice.  Diversity is won by building relationships and building relationships is our mission!

Our key focus will center around sensitivity and diversity education to providers of services to and for the LGBTQI* community.  Service providers may include health, educational, spiritual, familial, personal well-being, end-of-life, financial, or social sectors.  

Our goal will be to eradicate fear and misinformation in perception of the LGBTQI* community. Additionally, we seek to provide resources for those looking for help.

What We Do

We stand for diversity and equality for all people of all communities. In pursuit of our mission we provide the following:

• Cooperation between Advocacy Organizations
• Seminars & Workshops
• Displays and Exhibits
• Provision of Resources
• Fundraisers that benefit LGBTQI* Causes
• Social Events

The highlight of our year is FAMILY FEST, a 3-day event focusing on education related to a specific service sector, social interaction with our communities and fundraising for the Foundation.
